The Wrath of Kass

In "The Wrath of Kass," I sought to display an instance of raw emotion and power. The piece is rooted in a photograph of a friend from a holiday party, a still image that I felt compelled to inject with life and humor. I envisioned my friend not merely posing, but in the midst of an epic journey, riding a horse with an expression of unleashed zeal.

The color palette is deliberate, chosen to echo the intense shades one might find in a dramatic sunset. My strokes were guided by the energy I aimed to portray, with each swath of color adding to the narrative of movement and emotion. In the background, the swirl of colors represents the chaotic beauty of the moment.

As I painted, I focused on the interplay of light and shadow, the contrast between the figures and the scene around them. It was crucial to me that every element, from the contours of the horse to the spirited look on my friend's face, worked together to tell this story.
