Perfect Night

In “Perfect Night,” I chose to focus on the Golden Age Catwoman at her windowsill. I wanted to capture that feeling of the evening’s potential and the adventures that might lie ahead. I dressed her in a pink-purple leotard with a facial covering, aiming to channel the playful spirit of that era’s Catwoman.

The setting I painted is intimate, with the window framing her world and the adventures outside. Her posture hints at the anticipation of what’s to come. Through her attire, I sought to harken back to a time of simplicity and endless possibility. Even with her mask on, I tried to capture the excitement in her eyes. In this piece, I wanted to showcase that quiet moment before Catwoman launches into the night’s events.
