We can try, but we can't stop anyone from doing this if they really wanted to.

It's important to really think about what this means - if it becomes a normal practice for everyone, artists won't be able to afford to continue creating art.

Midsummer Night's Dreamlight

Midsummer Night's Dreamlight

When I was creating "Midsummer Night's Dreamlight," I envisioned a personal moment with Titania, the fae goddess. I've always felt a connection to the woodland realm, and I imagined a place where Titania could find solace away from her vast kingdom and numerous duties.

The colors I chose, primarily the calming greens and blues, reflect the woodlands and the night sky. Titania's striking blue eyes became the heart of this piece. I wanted them to capture the essence of her experiences and stories from countless eons. Her gently parted lips release a soft mist from the wooden pipe she cradles, a piece I took great care in detailing.

I painted her hair to flow seamlessly, lending movement to the piece, contrasting with the shimmering orbs around her that represent the magic of the midsummer night. Those orbs, which might remind one of fireflies, were meant to bring a touch of whimsy and magic.

In my mind, I imagined stories whispered amongst Titania's subjects about her midsummer retreats into these woods. This painting was meant to capture her not just as a ruler, but as someone finding a moment of respite.
