At the heart of this piece is the goblin warchief, striding forth undeterred through a blazing pillar of fire. The flames, while meant to be his doom, merely dance around him, casting a fiery glow that illuminates his fierce determination and unexpected prowess. Each brushstroke in the roaring fire is an ode to his resilience and a testament to his power.
Perhaps it was arrogance or mere ignorance that led the fledgling adventurers to believe they could easily vanquish such a being with a simple fireball. Their hubris is palpable, a stark contrast to the calculating calmness of the warchief. The luminous hues of orange, red, and amber juxtaposed against the muted background capture this very tension – the volatile dance between underestimation and the impending reckoning.
Through ‘Goblin of Fire,’ I aim to challenge perceptions, to urge viewers to look beyond conventions and stereotypes. For in the world of fantasy, as in life, it is often those we least expect who rise, phoenix-like, from the ashes, teaching us lessons in humility and respect.

Pearl Linen Postcard - This 3.5"x5" postcard is printed on linen, creating a almost canvas appearance. Between the linen weaves are pearlescent clusters, which increase the contrast of the art.
Holographic Poster - Printed on 8.5"x11" heavy duty card stock, these posters are dipped in holographic foil prior to printing. This enhances all of the darker tones in each painting (especially the line art), bringing subtle shards of iridescent colors when hit with direct light.
