• When art is downloaded and printed without compensation to the artist, it significantly impacts the artist's ability to make a living as a creator.

We can try, but we can't stop anyone from doing this if they really wanted to.

It's important to really think about what this means - if it becomes a normal practice for everyone, artists won't be able to afford to continue creating art.

Gambling in the Tavern

Gambling in the Tavern

In “Gambling in the Tavern”, I wished to encapsulate a moment where unpredictability and irony converge amidst a tapestry of diverse characters.

Nestled in a buzzing tavern, the table sets the stage. At its helm, the youthful human adventurer, his face reflecting both naivety and joy. Though perhaps the least experienced, it’s this unassuming lad who, by sheer luck or destiny, sweeps the pot. The warm tones enveloping him seem to amplify his sudden, unexpected success.

Adjacent sits the tiefling gentleman, all sharp features and smoldering charm. Neon highlights emphasize the fire in his eyes and the playful arrogance of someone certain of victory, unaware of the impending twist of fate.

Across, two powerful women command attention. The half-orc, her strong silhouette bathed in cool hues, exudes an intense focus, perhaps masking a hint of surprise at the game’s outcome. Her muscular build contrasts poetically with her subtly expressive eyes, revealing layers of depth beneath.

The Yuan-Ti woman, on the other hand, radiates an exotic allure. Her serpentine elegance, accentuated with shimmering neon, hints at her mystique. She’s an embodiment of mystery, her eyes narrowing slightly as she processes the unexpected turn of events.

Through “Gambling in the Tavern”, I’ve tried to paint not just a scene, but a story of irony and chance, where seasoned expertise is upended by the innocent unpredictability of a young heart. It’s a reminder that in the game of life, sometimes the wild cards have the most enchanting tales to tell.
