We can try, but we can't stop anyone from doing this if they really wanted to.

It's important to really think about what this means - if it becomes a normal practice for everyone, artists won't be able to afford to continue creating art.

Evan in Leather

Evan in Leather

There are moments, fleeting and poignant, where the raw complexities of human emotion become tangible. These were the very sentiments that compelled me to create “Evan in Leather”, a deeply intimate portrayal of Evan Peters in his riveting role as Tate from American Horror Story: Murder House.

In this scene, I’ve positioned Evan with his back to us, representing the weight of his shame and the struggle with his identity. The incessant rain, a torrential downpour of both nature and emotion, lashes against his leather jacket, each droplet echoing the countless tears and regrets of his past. The atmospheric disturbance isn’t just a meteorological event; it’s a deluge of remorse, yearning, and a desperate desire for redemption.

Although he’s turned away, he isn’t entirely closed off. His head tilts slightly, offering just a sliver of his lips, a hint that beneath the turmoil there lies a need to communicate, to confess. The ambient lighting refracts off his dirty blonde hair, illuminating his inner tempest. His posture, tensed and hesitant, signifies an internal battle—a war between confronting his sins and the overwhelming urge to run.
