When I sat down to create "Emerald Celestial Guardian," I wanted to dive deep into a particular moment I felt connected with Luke Skywalker. The piece focuses on him, standing alone, his lightsaber casting a gentle green illumination. I remember feeling the weight of the universe on his shoulders and the quiet intensity in his eyes. It was about those instances we all face when we gather our inner strength, even when everything seems so uncertain.

The colors I chose were intentional. The muted background represented the quiet solitude of the galaxy, while the vibrant glow from the lightsaber symbolized hope and determination. As I worked on his robe, I aimed to bring out the texture, giving a sense of its journey and the challenges faced.

The absence of the Death Troopers in the visual piece, though hinted in its aura, was a choice I made. I wanted the audience to sense the impending presence, even if they couldn’t directly see it. It's about those unseen challenges we all carry, and yet we stand firm, ready to face them.

Pearl Linen Postcard - This 3.5"x5" postcard is printed on linen, creating a almost canvas appearance. Between the linen weaves are pearlescent clusters, which increase the contrast of the art.

Holographic Poster - Printed on 8.5"x11" heavy duty card stock, these posters are dipped in holographic foil prior to printing. This enhances all of the darker tones in each painting (especially the line art), bringing subtle shards of iridescent colors when hit with direct light.
