Against Cosmic Odds

In “Against Cosmic Odds,” I sought to capture that defining moment for Tony Stark when the infinity stones embed themselves into his gauntlet. The overwhelming neon glow of the cosmic energy is a dominant feature in my artwork, but I ensured that Tony’s subtle smile remained evident, hinting at the powerful words he’s about to speak.

As I painted, I contemplated the depth of Tony’s foresight. I wanted viewers to question when Tony had this outcome in mind. Was it even before Doctor Strange’s silent gesture? This portrait is my interpretation of Tony’s nature, reflecting his ability to always think several steps ahead.

The radiance of the stones in the artwork was essential, but I also wanted to focus on Tony’s expression. Through this, I aimed to portray his determination, bravery, and acceptance of what’s to come. My intention with “Against Cosmic Odds” was to commemorate the spirit of a hero faced with an immense decision.

Pearl Linen Postcard - This 3.5"x5" postcard is printed on linen, creating a almost canvas appearance. Between the linen weaves are pearlescent clusters, which increase the contrast of the art.
