• When art is downloaded and printed without compensation to the artist, it significantly impacts the artist's ability to make a living as a creator.

We can try, but we can't stop anyone from doing this if they really wanted to.

It's important to really think about what this means - if it becomes a normal practice for everyone, artists won't be able to afford to continue creating art.

Please know I fully support printing artwork via whatever means work best for you. I want to help ensure my art looks as best as it can in your home.

Digital Downloads are only $3, are sent instantly via email , and include high quality files of the artwork in five different aspect ratios (including one for device backgrounds).

I also include a printing guide so that you can use the best Aspect Ratio for your desired size which you can order online or via your desired local printer.

Supporting my art can be as simple as purchasing a digital download. It's an easy yet meaningful way to contribute to my business!

A Sociopath and His Lover

A Sociopath and His Lover

When you first gaze upon the piece, your eyes are immediately drawn to the tranquil shades of pastel that dominate the canvas. These soft hues of blues, pinks, and lavenders paint an almost dreamy atmosphere, capturing the feeling of a serene evening.

But as your eyes wander, the burning cruise ship becomes the startling focal point. It’s positioned strategically to the top right, making it almost feel like an afterthought, or a surprise waiting to be discovered amidst the serenity. And there they stand, with their backs to us - the two llamas. Their posture gives away nothing of the chaos they’ve caused or the turmoil behind the scene we witness. They are mere silhouettes against a backdrop of beauty and destruction.

The quote, “that’s the sound of forgiveness…screaming and then silence”, incorporated into the painting, carries with it a sense of ironic levity, making light of a grim situation. It encapsulates the essence of the scene, the blend of humor and horror, the juxtaposition of beauty and destruction.

In “A Sociopath and His Lover”, I wanted to challenge the observer. The peaceful colors almost serve as a diversion, distracting from the dark humor of the ship ablaze. Yet, for those familiar with the reference, the juxtaposition brings forth a chuckle, a nod to the absurdity of it all.
