We can try, but we can't stop anyone from doing this if they really wanted to.

It's important to really think about what this means - if it becomes a normal practice for everyone, artists won't be able to afford to continue creating art.

Gothic Chromatic Nightfall

Gothic Chromatic Nightfall

Creating "Gothic Chromatic Nightfall" was a journey into the heart of Gotham City. As I painted, I envisioned a world that thrived in the delicate balance of day and night, where every corner held stories yet to be told. The essence of Catwoman, with her duality, captivated me. Through every brushstroke, I tried to convey her spirit, her connection to the city, and her innate sense of purpose.

The colors I chose, shades of pink and purple, were inspired by those fleeting moments in the evening when the sky transforms, and everything seems to be bathed in a soft, ethereal light. The eyes were the soul of this piece, reflecting determination and a sense of belonging. I wanted them to tell a story, to share a glimpse into the world of Catwoman and her relationship with Gotham.

Using a digital medium allowed me to explore and bring out the luminosity of the colors. The juxtaposition of light and dark tones added depth, making Catwoman the focal point, while the cityscape served as a gentle reminder of the world she navigates.

When I look at "Gothic Chromatic Nightfall" now, it feels like a personal diary entry. It’s a snapshot of a moment when Catwoman, standing tall amidst the urban jungle, takes a pause to admire the city, her home. The entire process was a reminder of how art can be a window into another world, and I'm grateful to have had the chance to share this piece of my heart with others.
